If you grew up in the period in which it was introduced, it is easy to recall how the original Mustang set the pace with the fastest selling, most successful car ever introduced. It captured the hearts of many aficionados by being a concept of a truly new type of automobile. The Mustang is well known for their flair, excitement, handling and performance of a well-balanced sports car – plus they have smooth riding comfort, roominess and luxury that people look for in a truly great car at a fair and reasonable price point.

Mustang set the pace in the mid-1960s and revived that feeling of owner loyalty and commitment again in the 1971 model year. They introduced three rooflines in a platform with the size and stance for better handling characteristics and more passenger room. New standard features consisted, in part, of DirectAire Ventilation, side door steel guard rails, slim-profile, highback bucket seats and many further options to make the Mustang personal, versatile and affordable for your driving experiences.

This particular example is presented in yellow with black accent stripes, black convertible top and black interior. Yellow accents are also present in the interior and the Magnum 500-style wheels also are highlighted in this primary color. The Mustang is powered by a 302-cid V-8 engine that is paired to a console-mounted Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission and also has a AM/FM/cassette unit, dual sport mirrors with driver’s side remote, BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires; power steering, brakes and windows.
