Promoted in 1928 Ford factory literature as a “long, low, chummy car,” the new-for-1928 Ford Roadster was now designated as the Model A and was presented with an all-steel body, wide access from the doors, rich upholstery with deep, comfortable cushions, nickeled hardware and trim components, plus artistic color choices. The Model A is driven by a 200.5-cid, 40-hp inline four-cylinder engine that is mated to a three-speed manual transmission.

The Ford is presented in a two-tone scheme that features black fenders with a green-toned body finish and straw-colored wire wheels. Among the options found on this solid example are the very popular and desirable rumbleseat, dual sidemounts, Ford logo covers with mirrors, grilleguard, Ford-branded radiator mascot, trunk with trunk rack, running board step plates and rear bumperettes.
