The Pontiac GTO burst onto both an unsuspecting public and journalists alike in 1964. Even when automobile magazines critiqued John DeLorean’s new design for its tires and brakes, they still concluded by saying they loved it. It was relatively small, very fast and a smart combination.

This example was professionally restored approximately eight years ago and continues to be presented in very good condition. Finished in Aquamarine with a white power top and Parchment interior that is highlighted with black carpet, padded dashboard area and center console. The car runs with the highly desirable and rebuilt 389-cid, 348-hp V-8 engine with Tri-Power carburetion; to further up the ante, this GTO also has a four-speed Hurst-shifter transmission and Safe-T-Track rear end.

There is no shortage of looked-for features on this musclecar; among those to be found are bucket seats, console-mounted vacuum gauge, wood-like custom sports steering wheel, electric clock, seatbelts, trunk-mounted 12-disc CD changer; power windows, steering and brakes. Further attributes of this amazing Tri-Power GTO are optional exhaust splitters, correct Hurst wheels and redline tires. The car is accompanied by all receipts, is PHS documented and comes with its Protect-O-Plate.
