The 1966 version of the +4 was basically the same as introduced in 1950. The engine was still a Triumph four-cylinder TR4 with twin carbs, but as of 1964 upgraded to the larger displacement of 2,138-cc resulting in an increase in power to 105-hp. There is a four-speed manual transmission and hydraulically-actuated front disc and rear drum brakes.
This example is finished in dark green with black wire wheels with knock-off hubs, plus black leather interior with green piping, black vinyl top and boot. The steering wheel is a Mona-Lita (comes with the original type also); Lucas driving lights, Lucas tripod headlights, luggage rack, rear-mounted spare and louvered hood with leather strap are also found on the car. The Morgan +4 was built in keeping with the traditional Morgan construction techniques using a steel body over wooden frame, all on top of a ladder frame with Z-Section side members.
