The Phaeton is considered among the best looking of Ford’s 1936 offerings owing its styling to designer Bob Gregorie and Henry Ford’s son Edsel. At a price of $590 new, it was quite the style setter at a bargain price. Benefiting from a complete frame-off restoration ten years ago, it is powered by the customary flathead V-8 and three-speed manual transmission. It is equipped with a luggage rack, its original radio, and toolbox. Just 5,555 were built for the model year adding to their desirability today.
