This is a highly-original example of the last of the rear-wheel drive Cadillac convertibles. Having had only two previous sympathetic owners; the DeVille has been loved and appreciated by both. The second owner purchased the car in 1987 and it was acquired recently by the current vendor. It is said to have been always used in the best conditions, and it has always been kept so it is ready to be driven and enjoyed. Everything functions in the car as it should and is also a reliable driving example.

The DeVille Convertible is powered by a 472-cid, 375-hp V-8 engine and is linked to an automatic transmission. The Cadillac is presented in its original Sable Black paint; as are the chrome, black leather and carpets. The seals have been replaced on the “A” post, rear window and trunk. It also has a new white convertible top that is power-operated. All of the seals and top were replaced in January, 2014. It is also fitted with modern Michelin radial tires so it’s predictable and stable at speed. The Michelin's have the correct whitewalls on them.

Incredibly well documented, the original sales invoice and dealer pre-delivery inspection sheet still accompany the car. The Cadillac also comes with the original books as well as a comprehensive service history. It's clear from all of the documentation that has been preserved, that this DeVille has always been a special car to both previous owners. It has been driven approximately 700 miles during a recent period that thoroughly demonstrates that everything works as it should and can be driven in full confidence.
