The current owner purchased this Plymouth Barracuda in 2003, soon after its restoration had been completed. The car has great Honey Gold paint, straight bodywork and terrific panel fit. All chrome trim elements are in very nice shape and the engine compartment is highly detailed. The black vinyl top and restored black interior is in keeping with the excellence shown in the rest of this “showroom condition” car that is a trophy winner.
This example is stated to be of show-quality and is generously powered by a 340-cid, 240-hp V-8 engine. A console-shift automatic transmission separates bucket seats. Additional equipment on the Barracuda consists of air conditioning, AM radio; power steering and brakes. The full-length black body trim was an option in the 1973 model year, as is the vinyl top and center console. A distinctive hood, dual mirrors, chrome road wheels and proper bias-ply Goodyear Polyglas tires are all part of this wonderful machine. It was delivered and sold new at Central Motors in Birmingham, Alabama. The car comes with a copy of the order invoice to the dealer.
