In 1936, the 20 millionth Ford was built, and the success of the flathead V-8 was endorsed with the production of three million examples since only 1932. Only 5,601 examples of the handsome convertible sedan were produced that year. Presented in Cordoba Gray with a tan cloth top, this is a very special offering. The Ford has a 221-cid, 85-hp V-8 engine mated to a three-speed, floor-mounted manual transmission. It has several notable features including dual mirrors, dual tail lamps, AM radio with under-car antenna and a dash clock. The gauges remain original, while the saddle brown seat covers, door panels, banjo steering wheel and column have been recently refreshed. The Ford has also had a recent carburetor rebuild and new spark plugs have been installed. One of the rarest ’36 Fords, this convertible sedan is highly desirable.
