With only 2,150 examples built, this Biarritz is truly a masterpiece of Cadillac craftsmanship. It is difficult to find a better example of GM's styling and engineering prowess than viewing the 1956 Cadillac Eldorado. For the first time, the Eldorado also had a hardtop model that was named the Seville. The 1956 Cadillac is powered by a 365-cid V-8 engine with 305-hp and is connected to a Hydra-Matic automatic transmission. This power equipment was standard in period for this model.

This Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz was totally disassembled and meticulously restored “bolt-by-bolt”, all chrome was triple-dipped and all stainless steel was freshly polished. This beautiful vehicle comes with a complete, new interior. No expense was spared in the restoration of this vehicle. The sheet metal is reported as being laser straight and the paint is of show quality. This vehicle is said to ride and drive every bit as good as it looks. Features found on the Biarritz include two, four-barrel Carter carburetors with the factory “batwing” dual-element air cleaner, dual-exhaust, dual backup lights, Autronic Eye; power equipment consists of steering, windows, brakes, convertible top and six-way seat. The 3-1/4-inch wide whitewall tires are radial and mounted on original factory Saber-Spoke wheels finished in optional gold, as are the grille and vehicle nameplates. Fog lights and the factory fiberglass Parade Boot are also found on this example. The Cadillac has been kept in a climate-controlled environment.
