This 1959 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is powered by a 283-cid, 290-hp fuel-injected engine that is mated to a three-speed transmission. The engine has solid lifters and dual-points distributor. The car is equipped with windshield washers, Wonderbar radio, deluxe heater, sun visors and courtesy light. The car is finished in Frost Blue with white trim – 1959 is the only year for this color combination. Only 361 Corvettes were built with this option combination, out of 9,670 cars built.

The “fuelie” received a three year frame-on restoration that was completed in July 2003. The car comes with a restoration album and NCRS documentation. The Corvette has been awarded the NCRS Top Flight award. It has been a first place winner for the Corvette Club of Rhode Island. The Bay State Antique Auto Show is the largest New England car event, and it has received the first place award for the Corvette class. The Corvette received the Heritage Museums and Gardens Spectators Award the last two years. It was also a participant in the 2007 NCRS Fuel-Injected Road Tour.

The fuel-injected roadster has been owned and enjoyed by its current owner since 1985.
