After World War II, Willys decided to produce a civilian jeep. In 1948 Brooks Stevens introduced a two-door, two-wheel drive convertible with a 134-cid, 62-hp straight four-cylinder “Go Devil” engine mated to a three-speed manual transmission with overdrive. It is fun to drive and in its time, widely popular. The Willys Jeepster was acclaimed to be the last American production touring car. The Jeepster received a ground up restoration in 2009, the restoration photos come with the vehicle along with a new car cover.
