The first model of Aston Martin to be designed and built upon Ford’s Aluminum VH (vertical/horizontal) Platform, which amongst other technological improvements, helped to create a platform that was lighter in weight and provided greater strength than its predecessors. Also available as a coupe, limited numbers of this hand built car were produced. Powered by a 6.0 liter, 48-valve, 470 bhp, V-12 engine that can propel the car in excess of 185 mph. Acceleration is an impressive 0-60 mph in 4.9 seconds. Bodywork that exudes class and stylishness is well proportioned from all views. This elegant car was conceived as a convertible, so it is not to be regarded as a coupe with the top removed. Its electronically operated convertible top will open and close in mere seconds and disappears under a hard cover that fits flush with the surrounding bodywork. These cars have the look and produce the sounds that will impress even the most staid of onlookers.
