TOTAL MSRP = $347,995.00
Defined by Ferrari as a mid-front-engined 2+ coupe, the new Roma was designed to invoke La Nuova Dolce Vita, recalling elegant Ferraris of yesteryear such as the 250 GT Berlinetta Lusso. With output rated at 612 brake horsepower, the Roma provides both breathtaking performance and superb comfort and can easily be used on an everyday basis. Incredibly, 70% of the components utilized on the Roma are entirely new, making for a fresh take on sporting luxury as only Ferrari can provide.
Utilizing Ferrari’s acclaimed twin-turbocharged 3.9-litre V-8 engine and the SF90 Stradale’s eight-speed dual clutch transmission, it is safe to say that the Roma guarantees best-in-class performance while still retaining the stylistic purity of its bloodline. Sprinting to 62 mph from a standstill can be achieved in just 3.4 seconds, leading to a top speed of 199 mph. Despite its supercar-caliber performance, the Roma is tractable enough to be used on a daily basis, just as happy to be driven around town or as an open-road grand tourer.
Among the very first Romas to be delivered in North America, external options include the carbon fiber front spoiler and rear diffuser, sports exhaust pipes, Magnaride suspension, 20-inch Forged Diamond rims, and active matrix LED lights. Interior options include, the carbon fiber under door covers, passenger display, aluminum driver and passenger footrests, leather headliner, foldable rear seat backrest, high-power hifi system, and Apple CarPlay. Built to U.S. specifications and finished in Bianco Italia over a Bordeaux leather interior, this Roma will be delivered to the winning bidder through the North American official Ferrari dealership of their choosing.
Proceeds of the auction will benefit Save the Children, a 501(c)(3) organization. Working with children not only in the United States, but also in Africa, Asia, Europe, and South America, seeking to provide children with the proper tools to fight poverty, disease, and danger.
The opportunity to acquire an early-production slot of an all-new Ferrari model is an opportunity that does not come every day. Benefitting a worthy cause, this Roma would be an excellent addition to any collection and would surely make an excellent first Ferrari for the individual looking to be welcomed into the Ferrari family.
Please note the car pictured is not the actual car for commercial reasons, however; this Ferrari Roma to be auctioned is built to the aforementioned specification, which is identical to the specification of the car in these photographs. Upon completion, Ferrari North America will coordinate with the successful bidder and their desired authorized Ferrari dealership for the purchase and delivery as well as any titling and registration concerns. As such, there is no buyer’s premium to RM Sotheby’s on this lot, but only the hammer price (final bid on the website bidding console). If the final bid price exceeds the MSRP of the car (which includes any applicable taxes and fees at the dealership), Ferrari North America will coordinate with the buyer and the Save the Children charity (501(c)(3)) concerning the charitable donation and tax receipt. Please speak with an RM Sotheby’s representative for further details on this matter, but please note in advance that RM Sotheby’s is not providing legal or tax advice and any and all technical questions regarding tax receipts or charitable (501(c)(3)) donations should be directed to the successful bidder’s own legal and tax professionals.
