In 1957, the Morgan Series II 4/4 originally came from the factory with a Ford side-valve 1172-cc 100E, 36-hp engine. With a zero to sixty time of approximately 26-seconds, the Morgan was considered beautiful, but a bit sluggish.

This example however has been refined and upgraded with period correct enhancements, keeping its integrity while greatly improving its drivability. Installed from a 1968 Morgan Series V is a Ford Kent Crossflow 1600-cc, 95-hp engine. It is the same engine as used in the Lotus Seven and raced in Formula Vee and comes mated with the correct Ford four-speed gearbox for the Kent. The correct differential is installed, and a two-stage Weber carburetor and new Crossflow headers have been added. In addition, it features a Petronix ignition and a gear reduction starter.

Its owner of 13-years and longtime Morgan enthusiast, commends this example for always starting, and running cold in extreme temperatures, including days of 112-degree weather. It is run once a week and is completely dialed in for the next owner to love and cherish.
