Considered one of the rarest releases of Air Jordan 4s, the Eminem 'Encore' has become a long sought-after addition to many sneakerheads collections.

The Air Jordan 4, one of the most popular models of Air Jordans, was created by famed Nike designer Tinker Hatfield. It was the second Air Jordan model that Tinker designed and the second one to feature visible Air. The Air Jordan 4 originally came out in 1989 with 4 colors: white and cement grey, white black and red, off-white and military blue, and black and red (Bred). Because of its popularity, the Air Jordan 4 has seen many innovative collaborations throughout its history.

Initially, in 2005, Eminem partnered with Nike to produce a unique blue, red, and black version of the Air Jordan 4. Known as the ‘Encore', the pair pays tribute to his Encore album release. It was rumored that only fifty pairs of this original release were distributed among friends and family.

Due to the original release's popularity, the Nike Air Jordan 4 Retro Eminem 'Encore' was re-released in 2017 to coincide with Eminem’s Revival album and limited to just 23 pairs.

The 2017 Air Jordan 4 Retro Eminem 'Encore' features a slightly lighter shade of grey on the heel tab and wings, as well as a lighter shade of blue throughout, but all other details stay true to the original release. This particular pair was molded similarly to the 2005 'Encore'.
