Introduced in 1995, a year after its Berlinetta sibling, Ferrari’s F355 Spider marked yet another turning point in Maranello’s modern evolution. It was the marque’s first open car with a fully power-operated soft top and yet, in typical Ferrari fashion, this newfound convenience arrived without compromise to the car’s performance. Beneath Pininfarina’s sculpted bodywork lay Ferrari’s naturally aspirated, Formula 1–inspired 3.5-liter V-8 with a five-valve-per-cylinder head and Bosch Motronic fuel injection, capable of producing 375 horsepower and climbing to an 8,500-rpm crescendo for a truly breathtaking sensory experience.
While the F355 also introduced Ferrari’s paddle-shifted F1 gearbox, true devotees still chase the six-speed gated manual—an analog masterpiece that transforms each shift into a tactile, mechanical event. In Spider form, with the engine’s operatic song pouring in unfiltered, it is clear why the manual gearbox F355s remains one of Ferrari’s most emotionally engaging modern classics.
The F355 Spider presented here is a true prize for marque connoisseurs: A factory gated-manual example with just 2,726 miles at cataloguing and a freshly completed engine-out service. Finished in black over beige Connolly leather, the car is exceptionally well-documented, with copies of its original window sticker, certificate of origin, purchase documents, and warranty card documenting its initial delivery through Ferrari of Atlanta on 18 May 1999 to an enthusiast from Franklin, Tennessee.
Having enjoyed a careful life of sparing use, the Spider most recently received an extensive engine-out service in November 2025 at North Coast Exotics in Cleveland, Ohio which included new timing belts, tensioner pulleys, spark plugs, fluids, and filters. Alongside its original sales documents, the car is accompanied by its original owner’s manuals with service booklet and leather pouch, factory tool kit with tire inflator, car cover, tan leather top boot with protective bag, and three factory key fobs.
Recently sorted and showing just 2,726 miles at cataloguing, this gated-manual F355 Spider offers the chance to experience Ferrari in its purest form—a celebration of performance, design, and the pure, unadulterated joy of shifting through the gears.
