This Chevrolet is far from your normal 210 Chevy; it is equipped with a thundering 383-cid V-8 matched to a smooth automatic transmission. The engine bay is well detailed and has many unique features that make you look twice. The fins on the valve covers match the air cleaner, which gives the engine a distinctive modernized look.

This car is iconic with the rocket looking front bumper; and the dual exhaust gives a stylish, but strong feel to the rear of the car. The long two-door body is fitted with stylish chrome trim that contours the body panels nicely.

Simple and clean is the best way to describe the reupholstered two-tone interior, which was completed by “Divines Custom Interiors” in Pittsburg, California. The retro-style tall shift lever expresses the power of the large V-8 under the hood and there is a tilt steering column installed. This car was thoroughly executed to a great level of completeness, even through to the trunk, which is fully upholstered and has a battery kill switch installed.

Shiny chrome is a great asset to this Chevrolet and it was done in a manner to not overpower the beautiful paint job. The blackwall tires give off an all-business feel to the lower half of the car. In contrast the color-keyed wheels with bright highlights sit nicely next to the chrome inserts. “Walker Plating” in Lake Shasta, California did the chroming on this particular car.

The sleek body is painted in a color by the name of “Golden Dream” and with smooth power steering, power brakes and air conditioning it must be a dream to drive. The trunk is fitted with an iPod connection and Marcos Garcia, the owner of Lucky 7 Customs was in charge of the execution of the restoration. This modernized classic is suitable for anyone’s taste. It has the ability to cruise on Sunday, but the power to get up and go when you press the gas pedal.
