After a mid-Depression retreat in size and stature, Cadillac restored its companion make LaSalle to prestige status in 1937. The return of the 322-cid V-8 engine took place in the 1937 model year. Power is transmitted though a three-speed manual transmission. The suspension consists of coil spring independent front, live rear axle with semi-elliptic leaf springs and four wheel hydraulic drum brakes. Other features of this vehicle include a rumbleseat, convertible top, wide whitewall tires and banjo steering wheel. It is finished in an attractive color combination that is accented by red and chrome wheels.

It is reported this LaSalle has a powerful 346-cid engine from a 1946 Cadillac that is smooth and quiet. The car is an excellent driver and the engine looks much like the original powerplant.
