This is a beautiful 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Sports Coupe that is finished in uncommon and desirable Rallye Green with Black interior trim. There are only approximately 400 test miles on its correct, frame-off restoration. The vehicle has been certified by Camaro expert Jerry MacNeish, and it is reported to have the X-77 option code.
The mechanical specifications include a fully rebuilt, date code correct DZ 302-cid V-8 engine that is identification number 19N617503 and casting number V0109DZ. The engine has been upgraded with the Cross-Ram manifold option with two Holley 4295 carburetors. This unit is mated to a completely rebuilt Muncie M21 four-speed manual transmission that has been fit with a new Hurst shifter and linkage kit. The car also runs with the correct JL8 service axle with 12-bolt Posi-traction rear end that runs with 4.10:1 gearing. The Camaro also has four-wheel disc brakes and a chambered exhaust system.
The exterior of the Camaro features a ZL3 fiberglass hood, front and rear spoilers, rear bumper guards and an Endura front bumper. The car is riding on a new set of BFGoodrich T/A radial tires that are set off by the correct Rally wheels. On the interior you will see bucket seats with center console, factory “Special Instrumentation” on the console, woodgrain steering wheel and a working, also factory correct AM/FM radio.
Overall, this is reported as an exceptional Z28 Camaro that has been properly and correctly restored to high standards of excellence, in an attractive and handsome color palette. On top of this, the Camaro has the highly-desirable upgraded Cross-Ram induction setup and four-wheel disc brakes; very special indeed.
