For 15 years, from the first four-cylinder 100 of 1953 to the final 3000 MKIII of 1968, the wonderful Austin-Healeys were the British sports cars which thousands of red-blooded aficionados most aspired to. They have plenty of performance, immense charisma, superb styling and a well-respected competition pedigree. The “Big Healeys” have always been in favor and their desirability continues to rise within the automotive collector community.

Since the company’s inception, the respected manufacturer only continued to improve on their wonderfully engineered inline six-cylinder engine. Appropriately equipped, this beautifully restored Austin-Healey 3000 BN7 is a wonderfully well-kept automobile. Finished in the attractive two-tone blue and cream paint, it matches beautifully to the lovely blue interior that is highlighted with white piping on the seats. Since its thorough restoration the car has traveled only 4,000 miles and is accompanied by owner’s books, tools and workshop manuals. The manual four-speed gearbox and reliability of the engine are reported to be outstanding, and in 2013 the car completed the noted Colorado Grand, and subsequently ran in the Copperstate 1000; a true testament to the cars drivability.

The car comes with its original factory hardtop as well as correct soft-top. Additionally the Healey has knock-off wire wheels, complete Smiths instrumentation, dual fender-mounted rear view mirrors, driving lights, lap belts and appropriate period accessory badging that includes the prestigious Royal Automobile Club. This is an opportunity to own a finely tuned, English sports car that will undoubtedly delight its next enthusiast owner.
