The Ford custom being offered is reported to have been professionally built by the “Skoal Bandit race team with over $150,000 invested.” The Skoal team was formed by Hollywood personalities Hal Needham and Burt Reynolds early in 1981. Their Skoal Bandit team won 13 poles and 10 races between then and 1989, when Harry Gant was their driver. When Needham left NASCAR after the 1989 season, Gant ran in 1990-1994 for owner Leo Jackson and crew chief Andy Petree. Together, they won three poles and eight races, including four straight in the fall of 1991.

This street rod features a Ram-Jet Chevrolet 350-cid V-8 fuel-injected crate engine with a 350 Turbo-Hydramatic automatic transmission with three gears for highway driving. The engine is nicely detailed with numerous polished or chromed components. The car is well-appointed and has been professionally appraised. In reviewing these documents, the car is rated as “excellent” in all forms, including exterior, interior and mechanical. The Ford is presented in black with a black leather custom interior and includes a tilt steering wheel, air conditioning, bucket seats, center console, premium five-spoke wheels, AM/FM custom sound system with GPS; power windows, steering and four-wheel disc brakes. The car is low-slung and sits at an appealing stance; perfect some may say.

The Ford Tudor Custom Sedan is described to be in showroom-type condition and has undergone a very expensive and extensive custom modification that include a chopped roof, custom gauges and custom suspension with airbags.
