The Volvo on offer was produced midway through the P1800ES’s production run in 1972 and comes fresh from a nice restoration in the highly attractive color combination of light blue metallic with black interior. The engine was recently rebuilt as was the manual transmission, the upholstery has been redone as well, and it has benefitted from a new rubbed Glasurit two-stage clearcoat paint job.
The car comes with receipts for all work which has been executed, as well as other pieces of documentation. The car rides on new tires, and comes fitted with four-wheel wheel disc brakes which provide excellent stopping power and the original style Volvo wheels. The owner describes this car as always having lived in Southern California and as a result is a very nice rust-free example. Beautiful, originally equipped, and stylistically one of the prettiest sport wagons of the era, this example is sure to please its next owner.
