Series 60, Model 65. 272.6-cid, 90-hp OHV inline eight-cylinder engine, three-speed synchromesh manual transmission, four-wheel mechanical drum brakes. Wheelbase: 118-inches

This Buick is from an era in which they built stout cars that are finely finished. The Sport Phaeton body, according to records, was only used on 79 Series 65 cars. The owner reports that this is the last that he is aware of in existence. The Buick is further enhanced by its one-year-only ride control system that is described to work perfectly. Another interesting feature on the car is the Wizard Control, which paired free-wheeling with an automatic clutch. The factory designed this car to run 80-mph in stock configuration.

This example has been restored to factory specs in every detail, and this work has been completed to a high level of quality. It has been in the same owner’s possession for the last 25 years and is being offered for the first time in this time-frame. The Buick has numerous factory options that include dual sidemounts, leather interior, luggage rack, single bar front bumper, clock and tools. It is also noted that this is the last year that Buick offered wood-spoke wheels, these being the 12-spoke type.
