This is a quite uncommon and stylish five-passenger touring coupe that had a very limited production run. Records indicate that only 2,419 SE coupes were built during its 1962-67 production run. This US-spec 300SE is powered by a 3.0-liter, 160-hp inline, fuel-injected inline six-cylinder engine that is mated to a four-speed automatic transmission.
This car is an unrestored original that is showing approximately 117,000 miles since new. The consignor purchased the Mercedes-Benz from the original owner. This model of car is well-appointed with luxurious leather with wood trim interior. This car is equipped with a factory sunroof, factory air conditioning and power windows. The 300SE rides on a hydro-pneumatic suspension system.
In the final year of production for this model, 253 units were built in the coupe configuration.
