The Fiat 850 Special offered here is a very rare find as it was exported from Italy to its current home in a private Southern California automotive museum. It is believed that this car is an original 10,000-mile example, however this cannot be verified. It retains its original paintwork and interior and features an 850-cc four-cylinder engine and a rare ‘Idroconvert’ or semi-automatic transmission. This transmission was designed with a normal ‘H’ pattern gearbox that can be shifted like a manual without one having to use a clutch pedal.
