Looking to celebrate 60 years of Porsche clubs and reward the German automaker’s immensely dedicated following, Porsche publicly revealed the 911 Carrera S Club Coupe to the world in 2012 at the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart. This new Club Coupe followed a similar formula established by the North American-market 2005 Club Coupe and was offered exclusively to Porsche Club members. Just 13 examples were built in total, reflecting the 13 original members of the Porsche Club Westfalen, the oldest Porsche Club in the world. Potential buyers were required to register on a website for a spot in the lottery.

Priced at $179,053, the privileged few received a truly special assembly of options, beginning with stunning Brewster Green paint. A Sports Design Package provided the exterior with a more aggressive front apron, while the “duck tail” spoiler at the rear harkens back to the iconic 1973 Carrera RS. Unique 20-inch Sport Techno wheels and graphics along the lower section of the door complete the outer appearance of this special model. Not limited to purely cosmetic changes, the Club Coupe was fitted with the desirable power kit, which provides an additional 30 horsepower over the standard Carrera S. Porsche Active Suspension Management, Sport Chrono Package with adaptive engine mounts, Porsche torque vectoring, and Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes further enhanced the ride quality and performance.

Stepping into the cabin over illuminated door sills with the Club Coupe logo, occupants are treated to a lavishly appointed interior covered largely in Espresso natural leather with contrasting Luxorbeige stitching. Brushed aluminum accents dress the interior, with the name of the original owner laser-engraved on the upper dashboard trim. For nearly double the price of a standard Carrera S, the Club Coupe came loaded with optional amenities, including a Bose audio system, adaptive sports seats, Power Steering Plus, Porsche Dynamic Light System, a sunroof, and navigation. Perhaps most importantly, the example on offer features the seven-speed manual transmission for ultimate driver engagement. It is thought that most of these Club Coupes were fitted with PDK dual-clutch transmissions, which would make this example a rare specification.

Showing just 8,357 miles on the odometer at cataloguing, this 2013 Porsche 911 Carrera S Club Coupe was originally sold through Napleton Westmont Porsche in Illinois and presents in wonderful condition thanks to the care of just two owners. As an incredibly rare Porsche variant—rarer even than the recently announced one-of-90 911 GT3 90 F. A.—it represents an exceptional opportunity for any serious collector.
