A truly all-season Ferrari, the FF was the company’s first model to feature all-wheel-drive and its first true four-passenger production car, thanks to a capacious hatchback body. It was inarguably the fastest four-seater car in the world, thanks to what was, at the time, the largest Ferrari V-12 ever made, producing 651 horsepower for a top speed of 208 mph. Unsurprisingly the FF proved widely popular, not only with those seeking a car that could handle “in the wet” with unusual brio, but with Ferrari’s established clientele who found it just the thing for keeping up appearances in Aspen and Whistler—quickly.
The example offered here is surely one of the most extraordinarily specified FFs. Finished in a special shade of Bianco with red interior piped and decorated in white to match, its window sticker notes that it was outfitted with red brake calipers; extensive interior trim in red carbon fiber, including the dashboard panel, transmission tunnel, and kick panels; and color-coordinated leather dashboard, as well as panoramic glass roof and $141,395 in “Other Options” that went unsaid. The total MSRP was a remarkable $496,235, with $193,785 of that being options!
At delivery from Ferrari of Beverly Hills, the car had 62 miles, according to the sales paperwork on file. At the time of cataloguing it recorded only 90 miles, making it surely one of the lowest-mileage FFs remaining in captivity—and unsurprisingly, it is still in virtually new, showroom condition, inside and out, with a clean history. It is accompanied as well by a pair of red seat covers, tools and tire inflator, battery tender with instructions, and two full sets of unused Schedoni fitted luggage, as well as a golf bag.
A truly unique FF in beautiful colors and with a remarkable level of bespoke finishes and touches throughout, this is an example of a singular Ferrari model that stands alone—suitable for the collection or ski chalet of another dedicated tifoso.
