Truly the only example of its kind in existence, the Murciélago LP640 presented here is one of only eight roadsters produced with a manual transmission built for the U.S. market, and four produced for the 2008 model year. In addition, it is the only manual-transmission LP640 Roadster to be finished in Grigio Avalon Metallic over a two-tone black and grey interior. Furthermore, the car is fitted with a number of highly desirable options, including the carbon fiber interior package, carbon fiber windshield trim, carbon fiber engine brace, rear window wind diffuser, front nose lifter, Kenwood navigation system, and the Lamborghini crest stitched in the headrests. Furthermore, it has been fitted with an aftermarket LMB custom exhaust and skid plates.

A California car for its whole life, the car was delivered new to its first owner in San Francisco in September of 2007 and remained with him until 2012, driven 7,312 miles in that time. The car was purchased by its second owner in March of 2013 through Lamborghini of Newport Beach and remained with that owner for the following four years, accumulating another 6,000 miles with its odometer currently reading 13,631 miles from new. An accompanying CARFAX report confirms the car’s mileage and that it has never been subject to any accidents or damage.

Importantly, the Murciélago has recently received its 15,000-mile major service at a cost of over $32,000, including new valve guides, a new battery, as well as a full fluid flush and new filters. In addition, the car has also been recently fitted with new Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires and brand-new TPMS sensors. Representing the end of an era for Lamborghini, Murciélagos fitted with six-speed manual transmissions continue to be the most sought-after versions of the model. Manual-transmission–equipped LP640s are few and far between, and Roadsters are even rarer, with only eight examples produced for the U.S. market.
