A truly brilliant specification and indeed the only example built as such, this Ferrari F355 is a desirable targa-top GTS model outfitted with a six-speed manual transmission. Sporting a nero leather interior, this is the only F355 to be finished in Bianco Avus for the 1999 model year and one of just five painted that color during the F355’s entire production run. Originally delivered to its first owner through Ferrari of Atlanta, the car remained in his ownership until 2004 when it was purchased by Walter Golczewski of Wayne, New Jersey. Golczewski kept the car until April of 2017, driving it over 18,000 miles during his ownership.
The F355 GTS presents in exceptionally original condition throughout and is believed to still be sporting its original coat of paint. Driven 34,850 miles from new over the course of its life, the car’s last major service was completed in August of 2016 and it has been driven less than 200 miles since. It is accompanied by its original books, tool kit, window sticker, spare key, and a factory car cover. Furthermore, it is worth noting that the car has been fitted with aftermarket Scuderia shields as well as a Tubi exhaust, making the car truly howl under full acceleration.
A truly unique car ready to drive and enjoy, F355s are beloved by many for their looks and performance and are one of the most popular models of the Montezemolo. The 355 GTS marks the end of the line for Ferrari’s targa-topped GTS models, which started with the iconic 246 GTS Dino, making this model particularly significant within the scope of Ferrari’s history. This particular GTS checks all the right boxes and is truly one to cherish and enjoy.
