This diminutive Watson Indianapolis Special pays tribute to AJ Foyt’s #5 Indy 500 winner from 1961. Painstakingly hand-crafted by racecar builders Lance Turner and Greg Kishline of Kenosha, Wisconsin, it exhibits incredible attention to detail throughout, including being built on a one-piece spaceframe under a slipper-type body, with working brakes and a live-axle rear end. Power is provided by a period-correct AU-series Red Seal motor, with 4:1 headers, mated to a direct-drive gearbox. The delightful tribute even has period-correct Monroe shocks, as well as correct-style upholstery. Suitable for any racing fan, big or small, this working scale-model Indy car is a favorite wherever it is shown.
