The Volkswagen Beetle is an iconic car, having been sold around the world for many years. This example of a 1959 Volkswagen Beetle has been restored to like new condition and is presented in Arctic Blue with a factory ragtop sunroof. The nineteen fifty-nine Beetle saw minor changes which included the addition of an anti-sway bar, stronger clutch springs, and a stronger reinforced frame. The car rides on whitewall radial tires which are mounted on steel wheels with VW wheel covers, including the spare. The interior is nicely appointed in Terracotta vinyl with white piping, which contrasts the body colored dash beautifully. Interior features include seatbelts and an AM radio. Powering this Beetle is an upgraded 1600-cc dual port four-cylinder engine with 12-volt electronics. The engine is painted to match the color of the body. The attention to detail on this restoration is very impressive; it is reported as being an "original rust-free California car" before the restoration process. This Beetle would be a great addition to any collection.
