In 1966, Monaco wasn’t only signifying the playground of the fabulously wealthy or the Formula 1 race through the streets of the Mediterranean principality. Monaco was also the top name in the “big Dodge” lineup for this model year with only the two-door hardtop and a convertible offered. The Dodge Monaco was a solid choice for those who wanted a lot more luxury and liveliness for their hard-earned dollars.
Finished in “sky blue” and complemented by a blue vinyl interior and white vinyl top; this Monaco is driven by a V-8 engine that is backed by an automatic transmission with column-shift. The front seat is the bench-type and the Monaco came with standard seatbelts. Other features that are of note include a dash-mounted Air Way compass, day/night mirror, rubber floor mats, two sets of keys, spare tire, jack, AM radio, hood ornamentation, factory wheel covers, whitewall tires; power steering and brakes. The unique roofline and clean body lines create a car of distinction.
All proceeds for the sale of this Dodge Monaco will benefit the Treasure Coast Autism Project (TCAP) of Stuart, Florida, a charity chosen by Mr. Carini and dedicated to improving the lives of children living with autism on the Treasure Coast by providing educational opportunities suited to each child's unique academic, therapeutic and social needs.
