The 1971 Mustang had a new size and stance and referred to the car as “European-style Grand Touring……giving the all-new Mustangs European flair, American-style.” The Mach 1 was available in only the SportsRoof body, and it made a strong statement in your choice of transportation.
Finished in “Mango” this is a fully restored 1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1 is driven by the 351-cid V-8 engine that is mated to the factory four-speed manual transmission with Hurst shifter. The accompanying Marti Report shows that this particular Mach 1 has experienced a color change from its original Light Pewter Metallic, and that it is fitted with desirable features such as factory air conditioning, Convenience Group, Sport Deck rear seat, tinted glass, rear window defroster, AM/FM stereo with factory 8-track, console, power steering and power brakes with front discs. The interior was, and remains Black. Spoilers at front and rear, racing mirrors, Mach 1 labelling and blackout treatment, custom wheels and Nitto tires complete this fine presentation.
