The term “Toterhome” indicates a motorhome built around a semi truck chassis, like this rig. This type of motorhome allows the pulling of large and heavy trailers. The toterhome name has come to mean generally a heavy-duty truck chassis with a small to medium living quarters and a deck on the back with a fifth wheel or gooseneck hitch.

This example runs with a Caterpillar 3126 diesel and comes with many conveniences. Among the list for the tractor are a full bath, sleeps six, television, Onan generator, microwave, refrigerator, sink, HVAC, LPG and full Kicker sound system in the cab. The trailer is for three cars, plus there is shop space, air compressor, tire racks, Trail FX 8,000 pound winch, dual awning, tables and outside lighting.

We are told that the sturdy chassis has six figures in mileage, but the speedometer/odometer has been twice replaced and the Cat engine is reported as newer with approximately 30,000 miles.
