Having experienced a full frame-off restoration that saw the car being rebuilt “from front-to-back and top-to-bottom” in 2006; this Chevelle has SS badging, and it is reported that the car has restoration receipts with “over $70,000 invested into it.” Running with a 427-cid V-8 from a 1968 Corvette; the exterior of the Chevelle is, we are told, “factory charcoal gray metallic” with black stripes and black vinyl top, which was a period option for this car. The car was stripped to bare metal before the paint application. Among the features are a functional cowl-induction hood, dual sport mirrors and SS trim package. The car’s interior displays black vinyl bucket seats, console-shift four-speed with Hurst shifter, tilt steering wheel, SS gauge package, CD player with 12-disc changer, 1,000-watt amp, six speakers, power steering and power brakes.

The previously mentioned 427 Corvette engine is said to produce 435-hp and has been balanced and blueprinted by the respected Lingenfelter Performance Engineering. Other specifics on the above mentioned equipment is further detailed with the brakes having front discs and the transmission is a M21 close ratio “rock crusher” and the rear unit is factory Posi-traction with 3.31:1 gearing. It has an F41 suspension with front and rear sway bars and rear Lakewood traction bars. The Chevelle’s exhaust is a dual aluminized 2.5-inch diameter from front-to-back with 40 series Flowmaster mufflers with 1970 Chevelle chrome tips. BFGoodrich white letter Radial T/A tires and chromed Cragar wheels complete the presentation.
