In 1977 the Corvette continued to be the only “true sports car” built in the United States. It exhibited the low-slung aerodynamic body lines that had become customary during this timeframe of the C3 series and needed no introduction. A fiberglass body with removable T-tops, flush retracting dual headlights, hideaway windshield wipers and energy-absorbing body color bumpers all were built-in elements on the 49,213 coupes that were produced this model year.

This orange example has a brown interior and is driven by a 350-cid V-8 engine that is paired to an automatic transmission. Other equipment includes a radio, power steering and power four-wheel disc brakes. The current owner has possessed the Corvette for the past 19 years, and it has received new brakes, rotors and tires.
