There was no mistake about it; the Chevrolet for 1964 was luxury-sized in everything but its affordable price. The Impala Super Sport was a new series for 1964 joining Impala, Bel Air and Biscayne in this size range of offerings. In every model, the exterior styling was freshly created to be distinctively “1964.” Inside, rich fabrics and glove-soft vinyl tempted your eye and touch – all of this, plus a “jet-smooth” ride that teamed up with a generous offering of engines to make for your own special brand of driving.

This red with black interior Sport Coupe is powered by the legendary 327-cid V-8 engine that is paired with an automatic transmission. Among the additional equipment includes air conditioning, tilt steering wheel, AM radio, dual exhaust, bucket seats, center console, jack, spare, power windows and power brakes. Adorned with additional SS-specific extras such as special wheel covers, body trim accents and SS badging, the Impala is reported as being sparingly used over the years and has recently experienced a cosmetic freshening.
