Utilizing Plymouth’s all-new Satellite body design, the Road Runner was an upscale muscle package with all the trendy graphics of the day. It came with a floor-shifter, heavy-duty suspension, Beep-Beep horn, rally gauges and more. The gold example here was born with a 340 V-8, but a prior owner discreetly upgraded it to a 383 and the 727 was exchanged for an A-833 four-speed with a bench-seat style Pistol Grip shifter. It also has an Air Grabber hood with pin-releases as well as foglamps, rear spoiler, AM/FM radio and rear defrost. The body is very straight and clean with nice panel gaps and finish. For the MOPAR enthusiast, this is a very interesting and unique car with great options and an unusual color that promises to be the only one like it at a national meet.
