This fire truck was purchased new from Mack Truck in Allentown, Pennsylvania by the Wexford Volunteer Fire Department in Wexford, Pennsylvania on May 31, 1972 and delivered to them on March 30, 1973. The original price was $66,631. It has just 35,833 original miles and has held up remarkably well. It is powered by a 672-cid six-cylinder turbocharged diesel that produces 235-hp and 906-lb./ft of torque. The transmission is a Mack TR722 five-speed manual.

This Mack was properly maintained and had its last inspection in August, 2012 which included a pump test, category 1, category 6, category 21 and the fuel filter. The service was completed by Glick Fire Equipment Company. The siren is disconnected, but the emergency lights work properly. It comes with the Mack Truck service manual, original purchase proposal, wiring schematics and clear Pennsylvania title. There is some minor scratches and dings, but overall it's in very good condition.
