This 1957 Dodge Coronet has a 440-cid engine that is bored .060 over. It is built by Madman Racing and produces approximately 700 horsepower. With over $14,000 in receipts; the build includes Indy aluminum cylinder heads, MSD ignition, Holley electronic fuel pump, automatic transmission with stall convertor and B&M shifter, 3.55:1 Auburn gears in an 8-3/4-inch housing, rear leaf springs with drum brakes and front torsion bar with disc brakes. The Coronet also has new rechromed bumpers, new interior, tachometer and other gauges. The Dodge has been mini-tubbed with a fuel cell in the trunk, and it has dual three-inch Flowmaster exhausts with cutouts. The car runs on 110-plus octane only.
