This AMC is powered by a 390-cid, 315-hp V-8 engine that is connected to a floor-mounted four-speed manual transmission. This car has the performance oriented Go Pack option, bucket seats, air conditioning, redline tires, factory sport wheels, tilt steering wheel, power steering and brakes. The AMX is a mechanically sound California car, well-presented in Scarab Gold paint with black stripes and a new Legendary tan interior. The engine compartment and trunk are nicely detailed; AMC produced 6,725 AMX models in 1968. For being previously unknown in the performance field, AMC suddenly had appeal with the AMX from muscle car and sports car enthusiasts alike.
