In 1961 Pontiac produced 18,264 copies of this model; this is one of only 1,323 that is fitted with the 389-cid, 348-hp V-8 engine with Tri-Power carburetion. This Bonneville convertible is finished in Seacrest Green with a new two-tone complementing interior. This power package has been rebuilt; originally this combination had the highest output from Pontiac in 1961. This example has an automatic transmission, radio with rear speaker, dual mirrors and full wheel covers. This design of Bonneville is an ideal representation of Pontiac’s luxury car/ muscle car image.
