At a cost of $13,074, the Eldorado Brougham was distinctive not only for its price but for its unique stainless steel roof, which set it apart from competitors in an era awash with glamorous grilles, chrome and fins. The model cost twice as much as the standard Eldorado and cost even more than a Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud. Buyers got value for their money; the Style 7059X Broughams were built with every comfort option available from General Motors at the time, including the first memory power seats, factory air conditioning, power side and vent windows, Guidematic headlight control, radio, power locks and the trademark Cadillac automatic trunk pull down.

This example has been sympathetically maintained throughout its entire life. It sports its all-original grey and blue interior, which has been preserved in excellent time-warp condition. The motor is reported to operate very well as does the Hydra-Matic four-speed transmission, and it is believed that the circa 53,000 mile odometer reading is accurate due to the condition of the interior and wonderful operating character of the mechanical components. The stainless steel top is excellent and has no dings or damage from improper care, which sometimes plagues this most unique finish. The chrome and trim are believed to be original, although the paint has been very nicely refinished at some point in the past using the correct original deep black lacquer finish. Chassis 58P034613 has been in the care of its latest owner for the last three years; prior to his acquisition it was in the hands of another owner, and both have been responsible caretakers, exercising it sparingly but maintaining the integrity of the finishes. The Eldorado Broughams are highly collectible and always garner attention wherever shown or offered for sale. This was the absolute pinnacle of American luxury in 1958, as stunning now as it was then.
