The 560 SL was acquired by the current owner’s father new from their local dealer, Autohaus of Dallas, Texas, on 12 May 1987, and has remained in their ownership since. Finished in Signal Red over Palomino leather and equipped with the optional black soft top, it was continuously registered for the road through 2002, at which point it was retired to the family’s collection. Still presenting in good overall cosmetic condition, it has recorded only 28,441 actual miles at the time of cataloguing.
