The 1958 Citation represented the Edsel at its most luxurious and best-built, with solid construction accenting its unique styling, and a 345-hp, 410-cu. in. E-475 V-8 under the hood. Another innovative feature was the Teletouch transmission, memorably shifted using pushbuttons mounted in the center of the steering wheel. The Shrine of the Holy Grille’s example was originally delivered in Grand Bend, Kansas, and has always been well preserved; in fact, it retains much of its original factory interior. Seen in the 2000 film, Thirteen Days, it would be a wonderful, eye-catching tour and cruise-in car for a new owner.
