The owner of the Calumet Collection has very fond memories of the 1966 Eldorado convertible that he had owned decades ago, in which he and his wife completed a memorable cross-country trip. Thus, when he discovered this excellent, largely original and unrestored example in Arizona, it was soon added to the collection. Reportedly it had been kept for decades by the original owner and had only shortly been removed from his ownership. The interior and top are both simply fantastic, and the under-hood finishes, while very much original, are well preserved; the Collection is particularly proud of the beautiful genuine woodwork found inside, and the equally beautiful original dashboard. This is among the nicest examples available of this landmark model in the history of Cadillac’s grand Eldorado.
