The Diamond T Model 201, 1-ton was introduced in 1938 and powered by a Hercules engine with a Warner Gear transmission. The Chicago-based company enjoyed a reputation for a quality product that were very durable, capable of carrying heavy loads, hauling lots of equipment, and looking great while they were doing it.

The inline six-cylinder Hercules engine had seven main bearings, was cooled by a gear-driven water pump, and offered 91 horsepower from its 236 cubic inch unit at 3,200 rpm. The powerplant was mated to a Warner T9 four-speed manual transmission.

This Diamond T Model 201 Panel Truck is reported as being "very rare," and it has been completely restored to factory specifications including a comprehensive rebuild of the engine and mechanical systems, and features a dually rear end, new paint, interior, cast spoke wheels, sliding side doors on the cargo area, grab-rails, cabin heater, vented windshield sections, and a beautiful finished wood paneled cargo area. Chromed bumpers and the signature Diamond T grille and side hood louvers all add to the visual appeal of this imposing and nicely presented Chicago-built truck.
