Building on the already successful R1100S, in 2003 BMW Motorrad added a more track capable version to their line-up. This bike would sport upgrades such as factory dual Laser exhausts, Öhlins suspension, carbon fiber reinforced cylinder heads and bellypan, and a shorter paralever torque arm to raise the rear end and reduce the wheelbase resulting in more responsive steering and greater ground clearance for cornering at high speed. These bikes would be made in limited production and fittingly named the Boxer Cup Replica.
The Boxer Cup Replica being offered here is the 2005 model year and one of the most desirable, dressed in traditional BMW livery. This bike presents in good overall condition and would make a great addition to a BMW collection or more fittingly used as intended, as a track-day bike for the avid motorcycle enthusiast.
