This 1963 Ford Thunderbird M-Code is presented in a beautiful shade of Champagne with color keyed fender skirts. The car rides on whitewall tires with factory wheel covers. The Thunderbird is powered by a high performance 10.5:1 compression 390-cid V-8 engine which features a trio of Holley two-barrel carburetors mounted on a cast aluminum intake. The M-Code engine was conservatively reported to have 340-hp. The glorious sound of the M-Code can be heard through dual exhaust. The engine is paired to a Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission. Power equipment on the car includes windows and brakes. The interior is completed in a Gold Vinyl featuring bucket seats with seatbelts, a console, clock and AM/FM radio.
This car has been completely restored over several years and has been garage kept ever since. Included with this Thunderbird is the build sheet, or ROT (rotational specifications sheet). M-Code production was limited to the 1962 and 1963 model years. According to one source, over that time period Ford produced a total of only 275 M-Code Thunderbirds.
