In 1953, Bel Air became its own model and was applied to Chevrolet's top-of-the-line model range. For this year’s offering, Chevrolet had three new models and 17 body styles to select from. Offered here is a professional restored, Black Champagne painted Chevrolet Bel Air convertible. The power plant is a Blue Flame 235.5-cid inline six-cylinder that is producing an estimated 125-hp and it is backed by a column shifted powerglide automatic transmission. The beautiful interior is finished with a two tone black and white with matching colored upholstery. Options displayed in the interior include a pushbutton radio, electric clock and a cabin heater with defroster. The stunning black exterior is complimented by a white convertible top, whitewall tires, full factory wheel covers, fender skirts, driver’s side view mirror, and chrome bumpers with bumper guards. This Bel Air has recently been awarded its AACA 1st Senior Award.
